Teacher Employment and Recruitment

Cassidy Education recruits SEN specialist staff to work with special educational needs pupils. Our office is located in Central London, and we can offer temporary and permanent placements for Teacher, TA, HLTA, LSA and SENCO teachers.

Our database of teachers and support staff is comprised of experienced individuals qualified to work with ASD, SLD PMLD, other types of SEN as well as mainstream. We select our candidates from a database containing staff with expertise in many areas including Team Teach, PECS and Makaton.

Cassidy Education specialises in day-to-day, short-term, long-term and permanent placements. If you decide to use Cassidy Education for your staffing needs, we will send a consultant to visit your school, to better understand your needs and requirements before any potential staff placement enters either the interview stage or a trial period. Our aim is only to send you the right applicants, every time. Contact us to discuss your requirements in detail.

Vetting of candidates

We follow the DfE guidelines for vetting of staff and every candidate signed with us will have all required checks and a one-to-one interview, and we only accept originals documents as proof of qualifications and ‘right-to-work’.

All our candidates have a recent CV, application form and documented employment history. We must receive two professional references and two forms of photo ID. We also screen candidates for being on the barred list. All candidates will have an up-to-date enhanced DBS clearance, two forms of proof of address and proof of medical fitness.

Not to mention the verification of qualifications and registration with any required professional organisations such as the DfE.

We vet candidates regularly, and all information is filed for future reference.
