Emergency Cover Service

You may have read about it in newspapers it’s a challenge many school districts face this year. Substitute teachers are in short supply. The sub shortage is causing a crisis in schools across the city when teachers are out due to illness, personal leave, or professional learning, and substitutes are not available to their cover classrooms.

Without an adequate supply of substitute teachers, principals might have to spend their time covering classrooms, classes might be doubled up, specialists might be asked to cover, and teachers attending professional learning might be called back to the school.

A member of Cassidy Education Ltd will respond to all requests for emergency support within 5 minutes between 8am-6pm, Monday-Friday. Outside of this period, we will respond to all requests within 60 minutes.
